SUMMARY:Annual Yard Sale Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:The Annual Kutsinhira Yard Sale will be held at Village School (in the walkways in front of the Center) on Saturday\, June 24 from 8-4 and Sunday\, June 25 from 11-3. The day to drop off your donations is Friday\, June 23 from 12-5 at the Center. Contact Lynne (541-912-1091) if you need to make arrangements for a different time. \nIf you are cleaning out your garage\, your jewelry box\, your storage facility\, we would love to have your good quality furniture\, kitchen and household items\, any kind of jewelry\, sports equipment\, garden equipment\, outdoor gear and treasured heirlooms. Items should be in good/saleable condition. No clothing unless it is a unique and very interesting item (cowboy hats\, antique wedding dresses\, for example). \nIf you have an especially valuable item (a bike\, for example\, or high end sports equipment or valuable antique) contact Gary at 541-337-3281 at any time prior to the sale as we may sell that item separately. \nIf you are interested in volunteering to work at the sale\, contact Lynne at 541-912-1091. We’ll also be sending out a call for volunteers closer to the event. This is a fun event\, and we welcome new Kutsinhira members–jobs range from putting up posters near the center\, pricing merchandise\, taking payments\, keeping merchandise organized\, setting up\, breaking down and much more! \nProceeds go to Kutsinhira with the exception of the high-ticket items referenced above–the profits from these items are allotted to the Zimbabwean Community Development Fund for projects we help fund in Zimbabwe such as well building\, toilets\, huts\, food security\, and school fees. \nThanks for pitching in!
