Class Opening Notifications

Kutsinhira Cultural Arts Center will offer three new classes beginning fall term. The tuition for class is $80 for members, $90 for non-members, drop-in fee will be $12 per class. Each class will be held at the center. Please contact education director, Deb Olson, at deboraholson@q.com, to register or receive more information.

Beginning Marimba Class, Mondays, 5:45. This all-ages class is for students new to marimba. It will be a 5 week class beginning November 2. The first class will be an orientation to Kutsinhira and to the musical tradition of Shona marimba music. This class will be $50 since it's a 5 week class.

Advanced Beginning Marimba Class, Wednesdays, 5:45. This all-ages class is for students who have taken all or parts of a beginning class and know several of the beginning songs in Kutsinhira’s curriculum. This 10 week class will begin September 28.

Intermediate Marimba Class, Thursdays, 5:45. More information to come.
