Zimbabwean Dance Class with Rujeko

Rujeko will lead us through movements related to Zimbabwean rhythm and song. She will help us internalize the music by repeating simple to more intricate steps. Rujeko’s teaching style supports all dance levels from first timers to seasoned dancers. If you have magavhu (leg rattles) be sure to bring them. Live mbira music for the class will be provided by Napoleon Jambwa and Gary Spalter. We hope to see you here!
